Waukesha County's Department of Public Works Facilities Maintenance Division seeks a Maintenance Mechanic II. The role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 am–3:30 pm with a schedule of 7 weekends and 2 holiday shifts per year. Strong experience in building systems, mechanical/electrical work, and HVAC is required.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and five years of related work experience, including two years at a responsible level. Training substitutions are allowed year-for-year.

• Five years of work experience in general repairs and maintenance of building systems, HVAC and related areas.
• Two of the five years must be at a responsible level (Maintenance Mechanic I or equivalent).
• Technical training may substitute on a year-for-year basis.
