The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair multiple building systems within MCW facilities.

You will inspect equipment on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and train Mechanic I staff on the inspection procedures. The role involves independently repairing and replacing motors, pumps, seals and bearings, and preparing systems for contractor work.

Competenze

• Minimum education: high school or equivalent.
• Minimum experience: 3 years in facilities maintenance/ HVAC.
• Ability to read schematics and work with building systems.

Mansioni

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Inspect equipment daily, weekly and monthly; document findings.
• Train Mechanic I staff on inspections and procedures.
• Repair or replace motors, pumps, seals, bearings, and related components.
• Shutdown and restart HVAC systems for maintenance or repair.
• Prepare systems for contractor work and assist on small projects.
• Access Building Automation, Phoenix Control and Fire systems as needed.
