AION is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance and service operations across multifamily properties in Portsmouth, VA. You will lead a maintenance team, execute preventative maintenance programs, and respond to service requests and emergencies while ensuring compliance with life-safety codes and company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance or facilities experience, preferably in multifamily or property management.
• 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life-safety systems.
• EPA Universal Certification required; CPO preferred; OSHA 10 preferred.
• Ability to clearly document work and use maintenance management software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily maintenance operations for residential units, common areas, and building systems.
• Ensure timely response to service requests, unit turns, inspections, and emergency repairs.
• Maintain building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, life-safety, and mechanical equipment.
• Ensure proper scheduling, documentation and close-out of all service requests, unit turns and inspections.
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventative maintenance (PM) programs in accordance with company policy.
• Identify and report mold-related growth, leaks, and other high-risk conditions immediately.
• Coordinate resident notifications related to preventative maintenance and service activities.
• Coordinate vendor work and manage inventory, storage, and purchasing policies.
