Job summary

Heatherwood is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations for upscale residential and mixed-use properties in New York. You will manage a team, coordinate with vendors and engineers, and ensure safety and quality standards across all sites.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, and training while maintaining strong communication with the Community Manager and property staff. A proactive, detail-oriented leader is essential for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a supervisory role in multifamily, commercial or hotel maintenance.
• Proven track record managing maintenance staff and vendors.
• Experience coordinating 3rd party porter, concierge, and doorman services.
• Ability to lead with safety, integrity and strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Apply a Safety First approach to daily operations.
• Maintain interior and exterior property standards.
• Oversee maintenance expenses, purchasing, and capex invoicing.
• Coordinate with Community Manager and 3rd party engineers.
• Develop and train maintenance technicians; manage on-call schedule.
