Job summary

Principe Foods, part of JBS Prepared Foods, is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent in Columbia, MO. This senior role leads maintenance operations, programs, and teams to ensure safety, reliability, and cost objectives across plant assets.

The position reports to the Plant Engineer and collaborates with Operations, FSQA, Supply Chain, and Engineering to drive continuous improvement and plant performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of maintenance leadership experience in a food manufacturing, meat processing, or industrial environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and managing budgets is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Maintenance Technicians and Electricians.
• Own maintenance KPIs including uptime, downtime reduction, PM compliance, and work order completion.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Lead RCA processes and ensure corrective actions are sustained.
• Collaborate with Operations, FSQA, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Technical Services.
