Job summary

Principe Foods in Columbia, MO is seeking a Food Safety Quality Assurance Supervisor to support the QA Manager in maintaining top product quality and safety. The role supervises QA technicians and ensures SQF and HACCP compliance across all records and audits.

The ideal candidate will have a biology background with USDA facility experience, HACCP certification, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a biological science with 3+ years’ USDA facility experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• HACCP certified; ability to make decisions without guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA Manager and serve as backup for QA Manager.
• Directly supervise QA technicians and coordinate activities with QA Manager.
• Ensure SQF program protocols and HACCP records are maintained.
• Maintain records for SQF, HACCP and prerequisite programs.
• Collaborate with Lab Manager on testing schedules.
• Coordinate internal GMP and audits.
• Interact with USDA inspectors and handle inquiries.
• Lead pest control and sanitation documentation.
