• Bachelor’s degree in a biological science with 3+ years’ experience in a USDA RTE facility.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA Manager and back up QA Manager.
• Supervises QA technicians and coordinates activities with QA Manager.
• Ensure SQF program protocols and standards are followed.
• Maintain HACCP program and monitor CCPs; keep records.
• Organize and maintain records for SQF, HACCP and prerequisites.
• Collaborate with Lab Manager on scheduled testing.
• Address maintenance requests and sanitation records.
• Interact with USDA inspectors regarding NR and concerns.
• Oversee internal pest control programs and audits (GMP, glass, brittle plastic).
• Assist Lab Manager with samples for analysis.
