Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance associates, guide troubleshooting, and ensure reliable refrigeration and material handling equipment across the site. You will monitor performance, coordinate contractor work, and support preventive maintenance records and safety standards.

The role requires OSHA PSM experience, HAZMAT certification, and CMMS proficiency, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and cross-shift communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, or minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience plus supervisory or lead experience.
• Skilled in industrial refrigeration, material handling equipment, dock door and leveler, plumbing, electrical, and building maintenance.
• Required to complete assigned industrial refrigeration and maintenance courses and obtain HAZMAT certification.
• Demonstrated experience implementing and maintaining OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) programs in an industrial setting, and proficiency in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide maintenance associates to meet department objectives and assignments.
• Perform operation, repair, and adjustment of refrigeration systems and material handling equipment.
• Monitor equipment and system performance, recommend corrective actions, and analyze reliability and availability.
• Troubleshoot building, refrigeration, and equipment systems to drive root cause analysis and implement solutions.
• Direct and oversee contractor work and inspect completed tasks for compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate preventive maintenance records and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Support capability development of facility technicians and ensure effective communication across all maintenance shifts.
