Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC in Missouri seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a maintenance crew at a large facility, ensuring safe, efficient operations and prompt response to escalated issues. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate with contractors as needed, inspect equipment, schedule preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety standards and site procedures.

Travel by automobile and airplane may be required; you will mentor staff, review performance, and support

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance mechanic experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• HAZMAT certification required.
• Completion of all RETA courses required within the first 24 months of employment.
• Ability to supervise and inspect work performed by maintenance associates and perform repair and adjustment of refrigeration systems, doors, dock boards, pallet racks, sweepers, sprinkler systems, forklifts, pallet trucks, and electrical work in accordance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance crew to ensure effective operations.
• Respond promptly to escalated issues, emergency repair orders, and complaints.
• Oversee repair and adjustment of facility systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Inspect and test equipment to evaluate performance and ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and issue work schedules, assign duties, and maintain accurate preventive maintenance and work records.
• Provide guidance to associates in resolving complex problems and complaints, and collaborate with staff to solve work-related issues.
• Evaluate employee performance, conduct staff meetings, and recommend or initiate personnel actions as needed.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
