Job summary

GMH Associates, Inc. is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to manage hands-on upkeep of our Phoenix property, including units and grounds. The role involves responding to work orders, ensuring safety and move-in readiness, and coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor.

Rotating on-call and some weekend availability are required. Ideal candidates have 3 years of property maintenance exp., HVAC certification, and experience with plumbing/electrical tasks.

Qualifications

• 3 years' maintenance experience required.
• Experience in multi-unit complexes, apartments, or hotels preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical and HVAC required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the daily operations of the property.
• Respond to work orders per company policy.
• Grounds and exterior upkeep as needed.
• The Turn and Make Ready process.
• Conduct regular health and safety inspections.
• Inspect units for Move In readiness.
• Ensure compliance with safety and fair housing laws.
• Hands-on maintenance of the property.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor to improve the property.
