Job summary

Apsilon Hotels is seeking a hands-on Chief Engineer to oversee the hourly maintenance team and ensure reliable operation of all hotel systems. You will train staff, manage preventative maintenance, and enforce safety, quality, and brand standards across the property.

Candidates should have at least 5 years in hospitality maintenance, a technical certification or engineering degree, and licenses. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential to coordinate with management and guests.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in hospitality or related building maintenance.
• CFC license and Stationary Engineer’s license-grade.
• English language skills (reading/writing).
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures.
• Ability to supervise and train maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance team.
• Provide field support to maintenance staff as needed.
• Follow procedures for ordering and receiving parts and materials.
• Perform preventative maintenance and follow energy management procedures.
• Operate maintenance software and monitor equipment.
• Train staff and keep records of training.
• Review preventive and scheduled maintenance work orders.
• Ensure safety, quality, and brand standards across operations.
