Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in engineering or maintenance leadership.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Organized, dependable, safety focused, and able to lead a maintenance team.
• Skilled in troubleshooting and problem solving; hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance and engineering team.
• Oversee daily repairs, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure proper operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and life safety systems.
• Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Manage department budgeting, inventory, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety, fire, and regulatory standards.
• Support maintenance team with troubleshooting and project work.
• Respond quickly to urgent issues and guest impact situations.
• Coordinate effectively with hotel leadership and all departments.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized engineering shop and work areas.
