Job summary

Dimensions Living Green Bay is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee all maintenance and repair activities within our community, ensuring safety and comfort for residents and staff.

The role focuses on preventive maintenance programs, vendor coordination, and leading a team of maintenance staff. The ideal candidate has knowledge of building codes and strong leadership and communication abilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all maintenance and repair activities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
• Management of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance with outside vendors and contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety codes, regulations, and company policies.
• Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that maintenance and upkeep is aligned with the overall goals of the community.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff.
