Job summary

Health Dimensions Group is seeking a Maintenance Director to lead our maintenance team and ensure a safe, well-maintained living and working environment for residents and staff. You will oversee plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting, and coordinate with outside vendors.

The role requires a high school diploma (degree preferred), maintenance experience, knowledge of building codes, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance and repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of all maintenance and repair activities, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Development and implementation of preventive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
• Management of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance.
• Coordinating repairs and maintenance with outside vendors and contractors.
• Ensuring compliance with all safety codes, regulations, and company policies.
• Managing inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that maintenance and upkeep is aligned with the overall goals of the community.
• Maintaining a safe and clean environment for our residents and staff.
