Job summary

RBC Bearings Incorporated is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to act as the plant's technical expert for equipment reliability, advanced troubleshooting, maintenance strategy, and manufacturing support. The ideal candidate has a broad technical background across mechanical, electrical, controls, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, CNC equipment, and industrial reliability practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/mechatronics or related field; equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance or reliability engineering experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills for complex equipment and systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

Serve as the plant's primary technical expert for equipment reliability and maintenance strategy.
Lead troubleshooting for complex and high-impact equipment failures.
Develop and implement maintenance standards, procedures, and reliability best practices.
Support PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, robotics, and industrial communication systems.
