Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC seeks a Senior Maintenance Engineer to ensure production equipment operates reliably and with minimized downtime. You will develop maintenance staff, implement predictive programs, and support Lean initiatives across high-volume OE lines.

The role requires deep mechanical, hydraulic, and control expertise, plus strong problem-solving, teamwork, and hands-on leadership on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of engineering, maintenance and controls experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Automotive/Truck industry experience is a plus.
• SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and repair machinery.
• Train maintenance technicians for effective troubleshooting.
• Implement preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance programs.
• Create maintenance procedures and SOPs.
• Manage replacement parts inventory.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and plant layout projects.
• Assist in capital equipment purchases and installation.
• Support product safety and quality processes.
