Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC in Huntington, IN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance team, drive safety, quality, and uptime, and partner with cross-functional groups to sustain production. You will implement MOS, Lean, and 5S, supervise technicians, manage spare parts, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have 5+ years in maintenance, 2+ years in leadership, and proficiency with SAP and MS Office; strong communication and problem-solving skills are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in a maintenance role in a heavy manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a leadership/supervisory role managing a team of maintenance technicians.
• Strong knowledge of machinery, equipment, and systems in a manufacturing setting (e.g., CNC machines, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead maintenance team; provide guidance and performance management.
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize production.
• Ensure staff are trained on equipment, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices.
• Drive MOS maintenance program to reduce equipment failures and ensure PM compliance.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues; provide technical support.
• Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and downtime for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production to schedule maintenance with minimal production impact.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
