Job summary

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC seeks a Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineer to keep high-volume OE lines running smoothly and reliably. You will lead maintenance programs, train technicians, and implement lean initiatives to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with engineering, maintenance and controls work within a manufacturing environment.
• Automotive/Truck industry experience is a plus.
• SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns diagnosing faults and repairing machinery.
• Train maintenance technicians to respond to equipment challenges.
• Implement preventative, predictive and autonomous maintenance programs.
• Create maintenance procedures.
• Manage replacement parts inventory.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and KPI targets.
• Assist in plant layout and capital equipment projects.
• Launch new products and processes meeting delivery schedules and cost targets.
• Collaborate with HSE, Quality, Engineering, Materials, and HR to reach goals.
• Drive continuous improvement using problem solving methods.
