Spotsylvania County Public Schools is seeking a Maintenance Electrical Engineer to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of electrical systems across school facilities. Immediate start with a 12-month/243-day term and potential on‑call duties during emergencies.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Journeyman Certification or equivalent experience, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Certification required or three years of trade experience.
• Continued education or additional licensure preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems in school facilities.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Respond to service requests and procure electrical parts and materials.
• Assist with snow removal and on-call emergency response as needed.
• Maintain and inventory resources to ensure timely repairs.
• Comply with local building codes and safety requirements.
