Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Specialist, Infrastructure Services Analyst to join the Mainframe Operations team in Lake Mary or Pittsburgh, USA. The role focuses on maintaining mainframe stability, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring high customer availability across critical systems.

You will proactively monitor consoles, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver timely, reliable outcomes while supporting disaster recovery and major incident

Qualifications

• Expert-level knowledge of Mainframe operating systems and console operations.
• Strong fundamentals in Mainframe console operations for day-to-day production environments.
• Experience with MVS/JES2 and LPAR shutdown/IPL procedures.

Responsibilities

• Owns day-to-day Mainframe Operations, ensuring system stability and high availability.
• Monitors consoles and analyzes failures; performs root-cause analysis and drives corrective actions.
• Coordinates with system programmers, production control, and business apps teams.
• Provides DR support to meet recovery objectives and maintain service quality.
• Supports Priority and ad hoc incident calls with clear communication and troubleshooting.
