Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Mainframe Senior Systems Engineer.
- Proven experience in z/OS upgrades, mass maintenance, and software installation.
- Expertise across JES2, HCD/IODF, SMP/E, WLM, OMVS/USS, SMF/RMF, ASM, GRS, SDSF, TSO, RACF.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical direction and mentor team members on z/OS upgrade optimization.
- Design and implement standardized approaches for z/OS upgrades and mass maintenance.
- Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of IBM and ISV software products per enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute OS upgrades with minimal business impact.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and templates for OS rollouts.
- Drive adoption of new technologies and automation frameworks.
