Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation in the United States invites an experienced Senior Mainframe to join our remote team. You will design, develop, and optimize MQ-based messaging and Healthcare Claims processing systems, leading efforts with onsite and offshore colleagues.

The role requires 7+ years in MQ, CICS, and mainframe technologies, with strong problem solving, code reviews, and deployment support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years on mainframe technologies, MQ and CICS experience.
• Healthcare Claims adjudication processes knowledge.
• Experience with code migration and release management.
• Experience creating and promoting packages across Dev, Test, QA, Prod.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement MQ-based messaging solutions for Claims apps.
• Design, develop, test, debug, maintain mainframe Claims apps (CICS, MQ).
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, PMs, and support teams to ensure project success.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore team members.
• Coordinate onsite-offshore activities and act as technical lead.
• Support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-implementation activities.
