Job summary

TechDigital Group is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to drive healthcare claims applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ. You will collaborate with business analysts, QA and project teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and maintaining critical mainframe systems, mentoring offshore staff, and ensuring smooth SIT/UAT and production deployments with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Strong experience in Mainframe technologies for application development (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, MQ).
Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and related workflows.
Solid understanding of code migration and release management across Dev, Test, QA and Prod with post‑deployment validation.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement technical solutions for Healthcare Claims applications on mainframe platforms.
Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe claims apps using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ.
Collaborate with analysts, QA, PMs and support teams to ensure high-quality solutions and project success.
Provide technical leadership and mentor offshore team members; coordinate onsite-offshore activities.
Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, conduct code reviews, and support deployments.
