TechDigital Group is seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to drive healthcare claims applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ. You will collaborate with business analysts, QA and project teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and maintaining critical mainframe systems, mentoring offshore staff, and ensuring smooth SIT/UAT and production deployments with strong problem-solving skills.

Formación

• Strong experience in Mainframe technologies for application development (COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, MQ).
• Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and related workflows.
• Solid understanding of code migration and release management across Dev, Test, QA and Prod with post‑deployment validation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement technical solutions for Healthcare Claims applications on mainframe platforms.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe claims apps using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA, PMs and support teams to ensure high-quality solutions and project success.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor offshore team members; coordinate onsite-offshore activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, conduct code reviews, and support deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Mainframe technologies, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ for application development.
• Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and a strong understanding of related business workflows and operations.
• Solid understanding of code migration and release management processes, including package creation, code promotion across Development, Test, QA, and Production environments, along with post-deployment validation and backout procedures.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical and production support issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and offshore development teams.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team setting.

• Develop and implement technical solutions for Healthcare Claims applications by transforming business requirements into scalable, efficient, and compliant mainframe systems.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe claims applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and MQ following established coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, project managers, and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to offshore team members, coordinate onsite-offshore activities, and act as a key contact for technical issue resolution.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, conduct code reviews, and support SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-implementation activities.
