Qualifications

• Experience with mainframe technologies: COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ.
• Understanding of Healthcare Claims adjudication processes and related workflows.
• Knowledge of code migration and release management across environments with post-deployment validation.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities for complex production issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with business stakeholders and offshore teams.
• Experience in Agile development environments and ability to work independently within a team.

• Develop and implement technical solutions for Healthcare Claims apps on mainframe platforms.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and maintain mainframe claims apps using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, MQ.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA, project managers, and support teams to ensure high-quality solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor offshore team members; coordinate onsite-offshore activities.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, conduct code reviews, and support deployments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in Mainframe technologies, COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS and MQ for application development.
• Experience with Healthcare Claims Adjudication processes and a strong understanding of related business workflows and operations.
• Solid understanding of code migration and release management processes, including package creation, code promotion across Development, Test, QA, and Production environments, along with post-deployment validation and backout procedures.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex technical and production support issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and offshore development teams.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team setting.
