Qualifications

• 7-9 years of DB2 DBA experience on z/OS in a large financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of DB2 utilities (IBM, BMC).
• Experience with ACF2 and RACF security for DB2 access.

Responsibilities

• Develop log scraping strategies to limit CPU, memory usage and staging space.
• Build Splunk dashboards to monitor the Db2 environment.
• Define and implement backup and recovery strategies for production DB2 on z/OS.
• Support 24x7 Sev1 on-call production DBA rotation and incident response.
• Collaborate with application teams on security and data access controls.
• Perform DB2 performance tuning and recommendations with development teams.
• Assist with SOX audits and ITSM processes; ensure milestones are met.
