Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Db2 for z/OS DBA experience.
• 3+ years with Db2 administration tools and utilities.
• 3+ years advanced SQL tuning in Db2 z/OS.
• 3+ years JCL development and 24x7 on-call support.
• 1+ year designing, implementing, or supporting database replication.

Responsibilities

• Administer Db2 z/OS and IDMS databases in production and non-production environments.
• Optimize SQL performance through tuning, access path analysis, and index recommendations.
• Develop automation to improve DB administration and legacy support activities.
• Manage backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery processes and testing.
• Support Db2 Function Level upgrades, version migrations, and utility execution.
• Respond to database support requests and production incidents during a 24x7 on-call rotation.
