Job summary

Accenture Flex is seeking an Application Support Engineer to act as a software detective, diagnosing and solving issues across critical business systems. You will lead cross-team collaboration, take ownership of decisions, and apply expertise in engineering support and remediation to improve service quality.

You will work onsite in the local metro area, supporting mainframe environments (DB2, CICS, MQ) and languages (COBOL, Java, IMS).

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in Engineering Support is required.
• High School Diplom/GED

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex software issues and develop effective solutions to maintain system stability and performance.
• Lead collaborative efforts across teams to ensure timely resolution of critical incidents and minimize business impact.
• Provide expert guidance and knowledge sharing to support team members and foster a culture of learning.
