Planate Management Group seeks an experienced Mail Security Operations Specialist to support high-risk incoming mail operations for government and high-security facilities. You will advise on how mail is received, screened, opened when required, documented, and escalated.

This role requires hands-on X-ray screening, PPE and chain-of-custody knowledge, and collaboration with security teams. Occasional travel to client sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in high-risk mail screening, official mail operations, isolated mail-facility operations, or related government/security roles.

Responsibilities

• Write mail-screening procedures for high-consequence sites.
• Advise on isolated-cell operations including PPE and chain of custody.
• Support drills with security, facilities, and first-responder counterparts.
• Translate workflow into requirements for automated screening systems.
• Train screeners on suspicious-mail recognition and stop-work authority.
• Coordinate incident documentation with USSS, USPIS, FPS, and other agencies.
