Job summary

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of progressively responsible technical support experience, including advanced macOS or Linux administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced macOS and Linux endpoint support across IT-managed desktops, labs, and research environments.
• Lead consultation, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management for macOS and Linux systems used in instructional delivery and research workflows.
• Ensure endpoint security standards and institutional policies are implemented to support academic activities.
• Assist in managing enterprise IT environments and specialized software environments used by students and staff.
• Collaborate with IT teams to improve system reliability and user support for complex technical issues.
