Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Senior Endpoint Platform Engineer to own the device fleet platform end-to-end, including the MDM stack, configuration as code, patching pipelines, and telemetry-driven policy. You’ll collaborate with Security and other teams to ensure hardened, compliant endpoints while keeping operations efficient.

The role emphasizes autonomy, architectural decisions, and roadmap ownership for the endpoint platform used by Anthropic staff. Hybrid work with in-office time is expected.

Qualifications

• 8+ years building secure IT systems in complex environments.
• Experience leading endpoint fleets management at scale.
• Ability to treat endpoint configuration as code and peer review it.

Responsibilities

• Own endpoint configuration as code: author, review, test, roll out policies for macOS and mobile with canary stages.
• Operate the MDM platform as a production service, including IaC, observability, upgrades, and incident response.
• Build patch management automation with rapid enforcement timelines while preserving UX.
• Design zero touch provisioning to enable day-one productivity.
• Support a small number of Linux machines alongside Macs.
• Turn fleet telemetry into policy, dashboards, and early drift warnings; use Claude to automate ops.
• Collaborate with Security on endpoint hardening and compliance controls; handle escalations.
