Job summary

Campbell Chain, a Hillman Group company, seeks a Machinist Maintenance Technician III to join the York, PA facility. You will serve as the senior machining expert, manufacturing, repairing, and rebuilding critical components and leading projects with minimal supervision.

You will operate manual and CNC equipment, read blueprints, and mentor peers while driving reliability improvements. A strong focus on safety and continuous improvement will shape daily activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of machinist/maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture, repair, and modify machine components and tooling.
• Operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, drill presses, and CNC equipment.
• Read blueprints and specifications to produce precision components.
• Fabricate replacement parts when OEM parts are unavailable or need modification.
• Restore worn equipment and rebuild assemblies to support uptime.
• Lead complex machining and fabrication projects with minimal supervision.
• Mentor less experienced technicians and share technical expertise.
