Job summary

Campbell Chain, part of The Hillman Group, is seeking a Manufacturing Production Technician II for the 3rd shift in York, PA. You will start on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 4:00 PM) for training before moving to the 3rd shift (9:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Sunday–Thursday).

Responsibilities include operating equipment for forming, machining, threading, welding, heat treating, and finishing chain products, monitoring processes, performing inspections, and recording production data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Experience operating production equipment preferred.
• Ability to read work instructions and product specifications.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

• Operate equipment to form, machine, thread, weld, heat-treat, and finish chain products.
• Monitor production processes for quality and efficiency.
• Inspect using gauges, calipers, and other measuring tools.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Production Technician II is responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment used to manufacture chain products and fittings. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot routine production issues while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.

Schedule

• Candidates will initially train on 1st shift (6:00 AM to 4:00 PM) for approximately 3 to 6 months before moving to the 3rd shift schedule.
• 3rd shift is from 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday
• Overtime may be required on Fridays based on business needs
• Schedule may vary based on business needs

What You'll Do

• Experience using measuring and inspection tools.
• Ability to identify and resolve routine production issues.
• Ability to read work instructions and product specifications.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
