Job summary

Perk in Chicago (onsite) is seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to join our fast-moving AI-focused startup. You will be the go-to person for day-to-day IT needs, focusing on Mac support, hardware lifecycle, and office IT logistics.

You will manage procurement for the local site, improve setups, and work hands-on in a collaborative environment across hubs. The role emphasizes execution, problem solving, and clear communication as Perk scales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT support or systems administration, with strong macOS experience.
• Experience administering core tooling for your current role.
• Proficiency with endpoint management and Mac/Windows troubleshooting.
• Organized with a systems-oriented mindset across multiple offices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with remote teammates.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line IT support for employees, resolving issues across hubs and macOS troubleshooting.
• Manage hardware lifecycle including procurement, deployment, inventory, and provisioning.
• Oversee AV and conference room systems and coordinate with the AV team.
• Assist with onboarding and zero-touch deployments for new devices.
• Plan and coordinate hardware refresh cycles and IT logistics for local hub.
