Job summary

EliseAI in New York City is seeking an IT Support Specialist to be the trusted onsite IT partner across multiple offices. You will handle hardware, software, and network issues, provisioning devices and maintaining local infrastructure to keep teams productive.

You will help build scalable IT systems and workflows, partnering with People Operations and Security to continuously improve the employee experience. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and thrives in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in IT support or related role.
• Strong macOS support experience; Windows knowledge a plus.
• Experience with identity and device management platforms (MDM) such as Mosyle, Jamf, Hexnode.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace and Slack.
• Understanding of identity and access management concepts (Okta, SSO provisioning).
• Customer-first mindset with strong communication and empathy.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; calm under pressure.
• Experience supporting AV systems and large meetings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as frontline IT support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Improve support systems and processes; create repeatable onboarding and imaging workflows.
• Collaborate with Security, Facilities, People Ops on employee experience.
• Manage vendors for procurement, repairs, and inventory control.
• Lead IT onboarding from device setup to day-one orientation.
• Handle device lifecycle: procurement, configuration, upgrades, and security enrollment.
• Maintain office infrastructure: WiFi, conferencing gear, printers, dashboards.
• Automate and document processes; provide clear technical guides.
• Support events with AV setup and live technical support.
