Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Senior M365 Platform Security, Compliance & AI Architect to define and govern the enterprise-wide Microsoft 365 security and data protection architecture. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or Info Systems.
• 10+ years enterprise tech experience with governance of security, compliance, or AI platforms.
• Deep expertise with Purview, Information Protection, Defender, Power Platform, Copilot.
• Strong communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap for Microsoft Purview, Defender, Power Platform, and Copilot Studio.
• Define reference architectures, integration models, and guardrails for information protection and compliance.
• Lead architecture reviews for data classification, encryption, DLP, retention, eDiscovery, and auditing.
• Define architecture for Defender capabilities, including threat detection and incident workflows.
• Establish governance for Copilot agents, environments, identity, and data readiness.
• Collaborate with Security, Risk, Legal, and Engineering to enforce Zero Trust and secure-by-design controls.
• Identify and reduce risks from oversharing, permissions, and third-party dependencies.
• Evaluate Microsoft roadmap changes and AI capabilities; translate into decisions and roadmaps.
• Maintain architecture health metrics and communicate risks to governance forums.
