Job summary

Bank of America seeks an Senior M365 Platform Security Architect to define enterprise-wide architecture for Purview, Information Protection, Defender, and Copilot, aligning with Zero Trust and regulatory requirements.

You will drive governance for Power Platform and Copilot Studio, partner across security, risk, and legal teams, and lead architecture reviews to ensure secure, scalable solutions throughout the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise technology experience in security, data, or AI platform architectures.
• Experience with Purview, Information Protection, Defender, Entra ID, Power Platform, Copilot.
• Deep expertise in Purview and Information Protection data classification, encryption, DLP, retention, eDiscovery, auditing.
• Strong understanding of Defender architecture and Zero Trust.
• Experience governing Power Platform environments, ALM, and governance.
• Experience enabling low-code, generative AI, or Copilot in large enterprises.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field; relevant certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap for Purview, IFP, Defender, Power Platform, Copilot.
• Define reference architectures, integration models, and guardrails for information protection and compliance.
• Lead architecture reviews and guide data classification, encryption, retention, DLP, eDiscovery.
• Define architecture for Defender capabilities including threat detection and response.
• Establish guardrails for Power Apps/Power Automate including environments and data policies.
• Define Copilot and agent foundations: data readiness, grounding, identity, permissions, and AI controls.
• Partner with Security, Risk, Legal, Privacy, and Engineering to embed Zero Trust controls.
• Identify and reduce risks from oversharing, excessive permissions, and third-party dependencies.
• Evaluate roadmap changes, licensing, and AI capabilities; translate into architecture decisions.
• Maintain architecture health and communicate risks to governance forums.
