Job summary

Bank of America is hiring a Senior M365 Platform Security, Compliance & AI Architect to define the enterprise architecture for secure data use, governed automation, and responsible AI across Microsoft 365 and Copilot tools.

You will shape target state, integration patterns, standards, and guardrails, partnering with multiple teams to strengthen information protection, threat defense, and regulatory compliance while enabling agile, low-code initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise technology experience in security, compliance, information protection, low-code, automation, data governance, or AI platform architectures.
• Expertise with Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, Defender, Entra ID dependencies, Power Platform, 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, and related services.
• Deep knowledge of data classification, encryption, DLP, retention, eDiscovery, auditing, insider risk, and governance.
• Strong understanding of Defender, telemetry, threat detection, Zero Trust, and security operations.
• Experience guiding low-code apps, automation, copilots, or Copilot agents in a large enterprise.
• Bachelor-level degree; certifications in Microsoft/Cloud/Security preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own target-state architecture and multi-year roadmap for Microsoft Purview, Defender, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, and dependencies.
• Define reference architectures, boundaries, integration models, and governance patterns.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide hands-on design direction for data classification, encryption, retention, DLP, and auditing.
• Define architecture for Defender capabilities, including threat detection and response and incident workflows.
• Establish guardrails for Power Apps/Power Automate, including environment strategy, data policies, and lifecycle controls.
• Govern Copilot foundations including data readiness, agent identity, and responsible AI controls.
• Partner across security, risk, compliance, engineering, and operations to embed Zero Trust and secure-by-design controls.
• Identify risks from oversharing, excessive permissions, untrusted apps, and third-party dependencies.
