Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company is seeking a Staff M365 Engineer to lead architecture, engineering, security, and reliability of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem across the enterprise. This role combines hands-on expertise with architectural leadership, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to enable secure, scalable modern workplace experiences.

The position emphasizes secure enablement of M365 Copilot, identity integration with Entra ID/Azure AD, and ongoing governance and compliance

Qualifications

10+ years in enterprise collaboration or workplace engineering
5+ years of deep, hands-on Microsoft 365 experience
Expert-level Exchange Online, SharePoint Online/OneDrive, and Teams (including Teams Phone)
Strong expertise in Entra ID/Azure AD, IAM, PowerShell, and Graph API
Experience supporting large, regulated enterprise environments

Responsibilities

Microsoft 365 Platform Architecture & Engineering for enterprise scale
Security, Compliance & Governance alignment with DLP, Purview, Defender, and guest access control
Identity, Access & Integration with Entra ID/Azure AD and SSO/MFA
Automation, Reliability & Operations using PowerShell and IaC practices
Copilot & Modern Workplace enablement and adoption strategies
Leadership & influence through architectural guidance and vendor collaboration
