Job summary

BDO USA, LLP is seeking an experienced Transaction Advisory Services Merger & Acquisition professional in the Nashville area to lead due diligence, financial analysis, and client engagements. You will coordinate with senior leadership and interface with target clients to drive successful M&A outcomes.

The role requires significant experience with US GAAP, SEC reporting, and strong communication skills to interact with C-level personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or Finance is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• Six or more years of public accounting experience or four or more years of TAS M&A experience at a mid/large firm is required.
• Experience interacting with C-level personnel is preferred.
• CPA, CPA candidate, or CA is preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint; IDEA experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee the due diligence process and ensure quality delivery.
• Analyze financial forecasts, earnings, assets and liabilities of target client.
• Perform industry and company research and collect information from sources.
• Conduct interviews with C-level personnel to gather information for financial analysis.
• Identify risks and issues related to integration planning and timelines.
• Support proposal development and client presentations.
