Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager in Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence for Nashville, TN. You will guide a motivated team on diverse engagements, delivering integrated due diligence that emphasizes value drivers for sponsors and lenders.

The role requires CPA or in-progress, US GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, with a focus on fast-paced delivery and client collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of audit and financial accounting due diligence experience at a top firm.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related major.
• CPA or in the process of obtaining one.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong project management skills.
• Flexible to work as part of a team or independently.
• Thrives in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and mentor Associates and Senior Associates.
• Manage and prioritize team responsibilities; liaise with MDs and senior team members.
• Maintain and update the budget and fee analysis.
• Manage multiple chargeable and non-chargeable projects of varying size and complexity.
• Review and evaluate project databooks prepared by team members.
• Generate a full due diligence report.
• Lead the Quality of Earnings, P&L and Working Capital analyses.
• Communicate with clients regarding engagement matters.
• Develop and propose creative solutions to engagement and transaction risks.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff; conduct training as applicable.
• Coordinate conflict check information and engagement setup with MDs.
• Assist Managing Directors and Senior Director in sales and business development efforts.
