Job summary

Synopsys Inc. seeks a corporate development professional to source and evaluate M&A targets, build business cases, and support deal execution. You will collaborate with strategy, finance, legal and business units to keep deals on track and integrate acquisitions post close.

You will work with senior leaders, develop financial models, perform market trend analyses, manage due diligence and track value realization, helping shape growth through strategic acquisitions.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or corporate development with exposure to M&A deal processes.
• Strong financial modeling skills to build robust business cases.
• Experience coordinating due diligence and deal execution activities.
• MBA or equivalent analytical training for senior stakeholder interaction.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate M&A targets with cross-functional input.
• Build financial models and business cases for deal rationale and strategic fit.
• Support deal execution by coordinating due diligence and data rooms.
• Partner with strategy to analyze market trends, dynamics, and tech shifts.
• Track post-close integration and ensure value realization.
• Maintain deal pipeline research and market intelligence.
