Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Manager to lead high-impact M&A engagements in its Merger & Carveout Services team. You will advise executives and synthesize business, technology, and data perspectives to influence deal outcomes.

You will grow the M&A practice by developing client relationships, shaping opportunities, and guiding teams through diligence, integration, and value realization, with a focus on AI-enabled insights.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management consulting, transaction advisory, or related experience with significant M&A experience.
• Experience leading complex mergers, integrations, carveouts, divestitures, or transaction programs from diligence through execution.
• Proven ability to develop client relationships and contribute to sale and expansion of engagements.
• Experience advising C-level stakeholders and translating complex issues into actionable recommendations.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen including TSA analysis, synergies, and one-time costs.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing engagement economics and governance.
• Experience integrating AI into workflows with strong critical thinking to ensure outputs are accurate.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex buy-side and sell-side merger, integration, and carveout engagements across diligence, pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close execution.
• Serve as trusted advisor to senior executives, aligning transaction objectives with practical strategies that manage risk and create value.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across IT, Finance, HR, Procurement, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and others.
• Guide analyses on standalone costs, synergies, TSA strategy, operating models, and value capture.
• Own engagement scope, economics, staffing, quality, risk, and governance across multiple workstreams.
• Leverage Intellio assets, analytics, and M&A methodologies to accelerate planning and reporting.
