Job summary

West Monroe seeks a Senior Manager in its Merger & Carveout Services (MCS) within the M&A Practice. You will lead high-impact transactions, advise executives, and integrate business, technology, and data perspectives to shape deal outcomes.

You will grow the M&A business, build client relationships, and develop future leaders. The role requires guiding engagements across diligence, integration, and value capture, with exposure to senior stakeholders and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of management consulting, transaction advisory, technology consulting, or related M&A experience.
• Proven experience leading complex mergers, integrations, carveouts, divestitures, or transaction programs.
• Demonstrated success developing client relationships and expanding engagements.
• Experience advising C-level stakeholders and translating complex issues into actionable recommendations.
• Experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex buy-side and sell-side engagements across diligence, pre-close planning, Day 1 readiness, and post-close execution.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives, linking objectives with practical strategies that create value and manage risk.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across IT, Finance & Accounting, HR, Procurement, Operations, Sales & Marketing.
• Originate and shape opportunities, manage proposals, and present to clients.
• Develop talent and contribute to knowledge sharing across practices.
