Job summary

West Monroe Partners is seeking a Senior Consultant in Mergers & Carveouts Services to join our transaction advisory team in Seattle. You will support buy-side/sell-side engagements, develop cost and synergy models, and advise on Day 1 readiness and separation planning across industries.

You’ll lead technology workstreams, manage project plans and budgets, and mentor junior staff while leveraging AI to enhance analyses and client value.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of client‑facing management or technology consulting, transaction advisory, or IT M&A experience.
• Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, integrations, carve-outs, or related tech transformations.
• Experience developing financial models, standalone cost analyses, synergy assessments, TSA analyses, or technology business cases.
• Understanding of enterprise apps, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and technology operating models in M&A.

Responsibilities

• Support buy-side and sell-side merger, integration, and carve-out engagements.
• Develop standalone operating and cost models, synergy analyses, and technology financial models.
• Analyze apps, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity to assess risks and value creation.
• Lead TSAs, standalone operating models, and Day 1 readiness activities.
• Manage post-close merger and carve-out technology workstreams, budgets, and risks.
• Mentor consultants and analysts; contribute to proposals and client pursuits.
• Apply AI/tools to accelerate analysis and improve delivery outcomes.
