Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Consultant, M&A (Financial Services) to help drive client value across the deal lifecycle in Insurance and related sectors. You will collaborate with PE and strategic clients, lead due diligence and post-close integration efforts, and advance our M&A practice with technology-enabled solutions.

You will mentor junior consultants, contribute to business development, and leverage AI tools to enhance insights and delivery quality across engagements.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in consulting, M&A, or IT within the Insurance industry.
• Experience in M&A-centric roles with Private Equity investors or corporate strategics.
• Familiarity with SaaS, software company transactions, and technology transformations is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage concurrent projects and workstreams efficiently.
• Experience integrating AI tools into day-to-day workflows to enhance productivity and insight generation.

Responsibilities

• Serve Private Equity and Corporate Strategic clients across the transaction lifecycle, including platform acquisitions, mergers/integrations, and divestitures/carve-outs.
• Conduct pre-close technology and operations due diligence, identifying risks and opportunities related to compliance, operations, revenue, and growth.
• Lead post-close engagements, including Day 1 readiness planning, post-merger integration, carve-out execution, and value creation initiatives.
• Work directly with clients to implement processes and technologies that drive business value and efficiency.
• Facilitate client workshops to design future-state business processes and evaluate technology solutions against best practices.
