Job summary

Porch Group is seeking a Senior Corporate Development Manager to lead integration of acquired companies and drive maximum value from M&A activity. This remote, US-based role sits in the Corporate Development team reporting to the VP of Corporate Development.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, with 5+ years in M&A/BD, and strong financial modeling, communication, and program management skills. MBA and P&C insurance experience are preferred; home services/B2B SaaS backgrounds are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in M&A, partnerships, or business development; P&C insurance preferred.
• 2-4 years of M&A integration experience in a matrixed organization.
• Proven program management skills for large-scale projects (M&A, organizational change, process redesign, systems implementations).
• Experience evaluating acquisition opportunities (strategic and financial) and managing day-to-day execution.
• Track record of driving results on critical initiatives over 12+ months.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills; expert in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to present to senior leaders.
• Self-motivated and proactive; comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience building enterprise business development pipelines and early-stage relationships.
• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or startup environments.

Responsibilities

• Source and screen acquisition targets; assess strategic/financial fit.
• Support due diligence and coordinate Finance, Legal, Ops to drive deal close.
• Create detailed integration plans with resources, risks, milestones.
• Drive integration plans with clear goals, operating mechanisms, updates to stakeholders.
• Build an integration toolkit to support high-volume M&A activity.
• Contribute to enterprise business development, pipeline and partnerships.
• Lead targeted strategy projects from scoping through execution.
• Leverage tools/AI to support daily work; stay current with new tools.
