Harbinger, an American EV company, seeks an engineer to lead the design of Low Voltage Subsystems through their lifecycle, collaborating with Electrical, Software, Supply Chain, and Program Management. You will define architecture, interfaces, and component requirements, and lead supplier RFQ/SOW processes.

Responsibilities include design validation, production ramp, ECOs, and sustaining engineering to improve cost, quality, and functionality, with PLM documentation and PPAP/SOP support.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field is required.
• 4+ years in product engineering or automotive electromechanical design.
• Experience with RFQ/SOW processes and supplier evaluation.
• Strong CAD/PLM skills and knowledge of ECAD tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with AEC-Q, USCAR-2, ISO 16750 or CISPR 25 is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams.

• Own engineering design of low voltage subsystems through lifecycle.
• Define architecture, interfaces and component requirements.
• Lead supplier selection, RFQ/SOW, and validation activities.
• Guide design development, roadblocks and documentation for 3D CAD and electrical specs.
• Support production launch, PPAP/SOP and engineering changes.
• Drive sustaining engineering for cost, quality and functionality.
