Job summary

Harbinger, an American EV innovator in California, seeks an Electrical Quality Engineer to own electrical quality across harnesses, boards, and power electronics. You will partner with design, manufacturing, and supply chain to define standards, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

You will drive quality gates, inspections, and continuous improvement while guiding cross-functional teams through DFMEA/PFMEA reviews and design changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing/supplier quality for automotive/EV electrical systems.
• ASQ CQE/CQA/CQM preferred; knowledge of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 highly desired.
• Familiarity with core quality tools: DFMEA/PFMEA, APQP, SPC, GR&R, PPAP, Control Plans.
• Strong analytical, communication, and multi-project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical quality standards for harnesses, boards, and power electronics.
• Perform root cause analysis on electrical/electronic failures and drive corrective actions.
• Lead quality gates, inspections, end-of-line tests and process improvements.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and supply chain to sustain quality.
• Lead MRB meetings and participate in engineering change control boards.
