Job summary

Harbinger is seeking an Electrical Engineer to own the design of low voltage components across their lifecycle. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical and software teams to define critical interfaces and develop prototypes to validate assumptions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and hands-on experience with automotive electromechanical systems, 3D CAD tools, and CAN/LIN communication. On-site California position with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Internship or extracurricular design experience in automotive electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD and electrical packaging concepts.
• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN/LIN) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering design of Low Voltage Components through lifecycle (ECMs, sensors, lighting).
• Lead concept definition, requirements capture, and proof-of-concept studies.
• Benchmark off-the-shelf components and support RFQ/SOW processes.
• Direct design, development, validation, and documentation in CAD and electrical specs.
• Support PPAP/SOP and production release activities; drive ECOs and cost/quality improvements.
